Goldey-Beacom College Men’s Soccer Picked to Finish 10th in Pre-Season Poll

Wilmington, DE – Goldey-Beacom College Men's Soccer Picked to Finish 10th in Pre-Season Poll

The Lightning Men's Soccer team was picked 10th in a pre-season poll by the men's soccer coaches in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).  Last year the Lightning went 1-14-3 overall and 1-5-3 in the CACC.  With a good core of the defensive unit for the Lightning returning including goalkeeper Garret Shuler along with defenders Matt Adkins, Noel White, and Kyle Bailey the Lightning look to make a statement.  The other returning members will look to have added help from the new comers to help the offensive end of the game.  With Coach Michael Finizio entering his 10th season with Goldey-Beacom and the new assistant coach of Derek Bujak, the Lightning look to improve on last years record in hopes of earning a spot in the post-season.
