Wilmington, DE – Goldey-Beacom College Tennis Team picked to finish 6^th in CACC pre-season poll

The Lightning Women's Tennis team was picked to finish in 6^th place in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) pre-season poll done by the member's coaches.  The Lightning finished the 2007 season with a school best record of 4-7 overall and 2-5 in the CACC. 

With Sophomore Luisiana Souto's return to lead Goldey-Beacom after playing for the CACC singles championship last season, the Lightning look to improve again this season.  Souto went 10-1 at No. 1 singles in her debut season for the Lightning, earning CACC Rookie of the Year accolades.  (Kirk Reed, Assistant Commissioner CACC)
