Middletown, DE – Coach Asbell voted CACC Golf Coach of the Year
Goldey-Beacom College Lightning Golf Coach John Asbell has been named CACC Golf Coach of the Year 2009.
Asbell earned the honor by the vote of the men’s golf coaches in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).
In his third season, Asbell has led the GBC golf to two NCAA Super Regional Championships, with this year’s team currently ranked 4th in the Northeast.
“We are extremely proud of our golf team’s accomplishments this season, under Coach John Asbell’s leadership, and wish them well in the NCAA Regional Championship”, stated Athletic Director Chris Morgan.
