Bruno, Wilson and Taite Picked to CACC Weekly Honor Roll

Solids efforts from last Wednesday have earned sophomore Lexi Bruno (Millville, NJ), junior Shakeem Wilson (Brooklyn, NY) and freshman Corey Taite (Sayreville, NJ) a spot on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
 
Bruno closed with 20 points, nine assists, four rebounds and four 3-pointers Wednesday in a tough loss to Philadelphia University.  She now is 10th in school history with 791 career points, third with 247 assists and fourth with 114 three-pointers.
 
The 2015 CACC Rookie of the Year this season is 13th in the country with 101 assists, 17th with 682 minutes, 20th with 5.3 assists per game, 26th with 50 three-pointers, 30th with 120 baskets, 45th with 2.63 three-pointers per game, 61st with 41 steals and 66th with 17.1 points per contest.
 
Wilson ended Wednesday with 17 points, three 3-pointers, an assist, a block and a steal.  He has 94 made free throws this season, putting him just six outside the school's top 10 list.
 
Enjoying an impressive debut campaign, Wilson is 35th in the country with 94 made free throws, eighth in the conference with 16.3 points per game, first with 5.2 free throws per contest, eighth with a .397 three-point percentage, 16th with 0.7 blocks per game and 26th with 1.1 steals per contest.
 
Taite on Wednesday amassed 15 points, five steals, a rebound and an assist.  He is 19th the nation with 38 steals, 29th with 2.11 steals per contest, 17th in the CACC with 14.1 points per game and 17th with 2.8 assists per contest.
 
Both teams are in action Tuesday at Chestnut Hill in games with huge conference-tournament implications.  The women (5-5) are third in the CACC South Division, one-half game ahead of Wilmington (5-6) and Usciences (5-6), and one game in front of Chestnut Hill (4-6).  The men (5-5) sit fourth with the division's final conference-tournament spot, one game ahead of Chestnut Hill (4-6).
