Yet another award each went in the direction of Goldey-Beacom juniors Lexi Bruno (Millville, NJ) and Britani Bryson (Hampton, VA), who each were named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Weekly Honor Roll.

Bruno averaged 15.0 points on 42 percent shooting (10-of-24), 6.5 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.0 steal over two games with six 3-pointers.  She closed Wednesday's 56-50 victory against Philadelphia U. with 20 points on 8-of-15 shooting, eight assists, four 3-pointers and two steals over 37 minutes.  Bruno also had 10 points, five rebounds, five assists and two blocks Saturday at Molloy.

It was just another honor for the standout guard, who last season was picked first team all-league one year after being tabbed CACC Rookie of the Year and second team all-conference.  Bruno is eighth in school history with 1,044 points, second with 312 assists, third with 140 three-pointers, sixth with 126 steals and seventh with 375 field goals.

Bruno is 52nd in the country with 18.8 points per game, 35th with 28 baskets, 38th with 5.5 assists per contest, 44th with 12 three-pointers and first in the league in assists.  Bruno last season paced the CACC with 17.0 points and 5.1 assists per contest.

Bryson averaged 10.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks over two games.  The all-league forward had eight points and 11 rebounds Wednesday against Philadelphia U. before amassing 13 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks Saturday at Molloy.

She also is looking for more season-ending hardware after being picked third team all-conference a season ago.  Bryson is 15th in school history with 717 points, ninth with 536 rebounds and fourth with 76 blocks.

Bryson is 70th in the nation with 9.5 rebounds per game, fourth in the CACC in that category, 28th in the league with 10.3 points per game and 27th with a .378 field goal percentage.  Last season, she was one of only four players in the league to average double figures in both points and rebounds.
