In a week that saw Goldey-Beacom make an appearance on the national stage, Dante Thompson (Coram, NY) was picked Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week with senior Elijah Tillman (Garnerville, NY) and junior Britani Bryson (Hampton, NY) named to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Thompson averaged 8.5 rebounds over two games to go with four steals and a block.  He had 10 rebounds and two steals Tuesday at University of the Sciences to go with 13 points before getting seven rebounds, two steals, a block and six points Sunday vs. American International.

Tillman provided the highlight of all highlights, throwing in a 65-foot shot at the buzzer in Goldey-Beacom's 71-68 overtime victory Tuesday at University of the Sciences.  The play was voted the 10th best on ESPN's Top Plays the next day.  Tillman closed Sunday's victory against American International with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting with seven rebounds.

A reliable player in the post and a potent weapon, the standout center is seventh in the country with a .732 field goal percentage, 12th in the CACC with 7.0 rebounds per game and 20th with 13.6 points per contest.

Tillman enters the week eighth in school history with 41 blocks.
