Another week meant more honors from the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference as seven athletes for Goldey-Beacom were presented the league's weekly awards.

Sophomore Suhail Bismilla (Johannesburg, South Africa) repeated as the Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week and freshman Nicolas Jaramillo (Cali, Colombia) was named to the weekly honor roll.  Also making the honor roll were sophomore Cliona Crammond (Wicklow, Ireland) from women's soccer, freshman Lindsay Przywara (Williamstown, NJ) from volleyball, senior Francesca Beg (Westbury, England) from women's tennis as well as junior Jordan Dodson (Port Deposit, MD) and freshman Adam Quann (Pennsville, NJ) from cross country.

Bismilla went 1-0-1 last week with 12 saves, a 1.35 goals-against average and an .800 save percentage.  He made six saves in the squad's huge 3-2 victory Wednesday over Georgian Court and then had six Saturday in the Lightning's 1-1 draw at Bloomfield.

Jaramillo's first collegiate goal certainly was an important one, finding the back of the net in the 82nd minute to break the tie in Goldey-Beacom's victory over Georgian Court.  The win, coupled with Saturday's draw, moved the Lightning (5-1-1, 3-0-1) to their best CACC start in school history.

Crammond scored two goals in helping Goldey-Beacom (6-2, 3-1) go 1-1 last week, moving the squad into a fourth-place tie in the CACC.  Her goal Tuesday against Georgian Court was the first marker the latter gave up this season in league play and she also tallied an insurance goal Saturday in the Lightning's 2-0 win at Bloomfield.

Przywara had 26 kills, 18 digs, three aces, two block assists and two assists over two matches.  She went on a tear Wednesday against University of the Sciences with 19 kills, a .350 hitting percentage, nine digs, two assists, an ace and a block assist in Goldey-Beacom's 3-1 win.  Przywara also had seven kills, nine digs, two aces and a block assist Saturday at Dominican.

Beg went 2-0 last week to help Goldey-Beacom go to 3-0 in the league for the fourth time in five years.  She notched a 6-4, 6-4 victory at second singles over Caldwell's Rebecca Ryan and teamed with senior Nina Sengl (Puchheim, Germany) for an 8-4 triumph at first doubles over Valeria Otarola and Rebecca Ryan.

Dodson on Friday again was in command for the Lightning by closing eighth in 21:15.4 at the GBC Fall Classic.  It was her second top-10 finish of the year and the second time in three weeks she has been picked to the Weekly Honor Roll.

Quann on Friday closed ninth in 28:31.6 at the GBC Fall Classic.  It is the first weekly honor this season for the squad and his first top-10 finish.
