Goldey-Beacom players who are no strangers to awards this season picked up some more hardware with junior Britani Bryson (Hampton, VA) named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll a sixth time this season and senior Riyan Williams (Dunkirk, MD) tabbed to the same list for the second time.

Bryson averaged 15.0 points on 12-of-22 shooting and 13.0 rebounds over two games with five assists and two blocks.  She was a dominant presence Tuesday against Felician with 16 points and 10 rebounds in a 76-63 victory before getting 14 and 16 Saturday at Dominican (NY) for her 11th double-double of the season.

Bryson has been an indomitable force at forward this season and one of the Lightning's most valuable players.  She is 12th in the country with 11.1 rebounds per game, 24th with 600 minutes played, 22nd with 113 baskets, tied for third with 11 double-doubles and 11th in the league with 13.4 points per game.  Bryson, picked the league's Defensive Player of the Week on December 20, also leads the conference in rebounds per contest.

Continuing to climb up the leaderboard, Bryson is ninth in school history with 931 points, fifth with 709 rebounds and fourth with 90 blocks.

Williams finished the week averaging 20.0 points on 18-of-27 shooting with five rebounds, four assists and two steals over two games.  He scored 19 points in the first half Saturday at Dominican (NY) en route to getting 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting in Goldey-Beacom's 98-71 win.  Williams also scored 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting Tuesday in his squad's 92-83 victory over Felician.

Williams has been a great addition to the squad and has provided invaluable minutes.  He is 21st in the league with 13.2 points per game, 13th with a .482 shooting percentage, 12th with 25 steals and sixth on the team with 4.1 rebounds per contest.

The women's team (11-8, 7-3 CACC), ranked as high as tied for ninth in the D2SIDA East Region poll before the new year, has won 10 of its last 13 games and is in second place in the CACC South Division.  The men's squad (12-3, 7-2) is second in the CACC South Division, tied with Wilmington (7-2) and one-half game in back of Philadelphia U.
