Another solid campaign for Goldey-Beacom's women's soccer team saw freshman Alanna Speaks (Wilmington, DE) and senior Amy Runciman (Luton, England) each named Conference Commissioners Association second team All-East Region.

Speaks, also named Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Year and first team All-CACC, has been an incredible addition who has impressed many with her incredible goal-scoring skills.  Also a member of the basketball squad, Speaks this fall is 37th in the country with 13 goals, 41st with 30 points, tied for third on the school's single-season list in goals and tied for fourth in points.

Speaks recorded a point in eight games, highlighted by getting three goals and two points September 27 against Lincoln (PA).  She also had a hat trick September 9 at Concordia (NY) as well as braces against September 16 at Felician and October 14 vs. Dominican (NY).

Runciman in 2015 was named first team all-league, second team CCA All-East Region and third team NSCAA All-East Region before she was selected second team All-CACC a season ago and first team this year.  Her strong playmaking and determination has her 114th in the country with eight goals and 115th with 20 points.  Runciman also is second in school history with 83 points, fourth with 27 goals and second with 29 assists.

Runciman also had big games this year, recording two goals and an assist October 14 vs. Dominican (NY) and notching a point in nine games.

Goldey-Beacom (12-5-2, 8-3-1 CACC) enjoyed an impressive journey that saw the team notch double figures in victories in consecutive years for the first time since 2001-02, go to the CACC Tournament a fourth straight year and tie the school record with eight conference wins.  The team also hosted a conference tournament game in back-to-back seasons for the first time in team history and its eight home wins matches the school record established in 2002.
