Britani Bryson Picked to CACC Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll

Goldey-Beacom's Britani Bryson (Hampton, VA) has enjoyed a solid start to the beginning of her senior campaign and today was picked to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Bryson averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks over two games. She had 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting with six rebounds and two blocks Tuesday at Shepherd before getting 15 points, eight rebounds and three blocks Sunday against Molloy.

Bryson, named second team all-league a season ago after being picked third team in 2016, continues to be one of the area's top frontcourt players. She is 18th in the league with 12.3 points per game, ninth with 7.0 rebounds per contest and seventh by shooting 50 percent (16-of-32) from the floor.

In Sunday's contest, Bryson got four baskets to give her 461 career and move her into fifth place in school history. She has 1,146 career points that are good for ninth in team annals and 824 that have her fourth.

Goldey-Beacom (1-3) on Tuesday visits 10th-ranked California (PA) for a 5:30 pm contest.
