Bryson and Thompson Named to CACC Weekly Honor Roll

Goldey-Beacom's basketball squads saw seniors Britani Bryson (Hampton, VA) and Dante Thompson (Coram, NY) each named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

Bryson averaged 19.5 points on 16-of-31 shooting and 5.5 rebounds over two games. She scored 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting with six rebounds and two assists Sunday at New Haven. Bryson, who makes her second straight appearance on the Weekly Honor Roll, also had 13 points and five rebounds Tuesday at fourth-ranked California (PA).

Thompson averaged 15.5 points on 12-of-28 shooting and 7.0 rebounds over two games. He poured in 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting with nine rebounds, four assists and two steals in addition to going 7-for-13 from the line Tuesday at Division I Morgan State.

The women's team is on the road Tuesday at Shippensburg for a 7:00 pm contest and the men's squad Wednesday visits LIU Post for a 7:00 pm game.
