Goldey-Beacom's outstanding basketball seasons took yet another turn for the better with four players named to the All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference teams.

Lexi Bruno (Millville, NJ) was named first team all-conference for women's hoops and fellow junior Britani Bryson (Hampton, VA) was tabbed second team.  The men's side saw seniors Parris Ridgeway-Higgs (New Castle, DE) and Riyan Williams (Dunkirk, MD) picked third team.

Bruno quite simply is one of the nation's most explosive players and is the all-around package when it comes to scoring, passing, court awareness and leadership.  This is her second straight nod on the first team after being picked second team and the league's Rookie of the Year in 2015.

Bruno last season also was picked the best Division II player in the country under 5'5" by Hero Sports.

This season, Bruno is 22nd in the nation with 18.8 points per game, second with 1,027 minutes, 21st with 73 three-pointers, 20th with 5.6 assists per contest, 92nd with 96 free throws and 24th with 179 baskets.  The standout guard also is second in school history with 1,496 points, first with 201 three-pointers, first with 446 assists, fifth with 177 steals and eighth with 243 free throws.

Bryson has established herself as one of nation's preeminent frontcourt players and one who can be relied on when it comes to scoring and rebounding.  The honor comes one year after she was picked third team All-CACC.

She is 13th in the country with 284 rebounds, tied for 11th with 14 double-doubles, 28th overall with 177 baskets, 37th with a .515 field goal percentage, 25th with 10.1 rebounds per game and 11th in the CACC with 14.6 points per contest.  Bryson already is ninth in team history with 1,084 points and fifth with 782 rebounds.

Ridgeway-Higgs has been one of the squad's focal players during his four seasons and finally earned some postseason recognition.  He has done it all when it comes to scoring, defense, passing and being a great teammate.

He is 65th in the country with a 2.27 assist-to-turnover ratio, 34th in the CACC with 11.2 points per game, sixth with 3.8 assists per contest and ninth with a .520 field goal percentage.  Ridgeway-Higgs also is 14th in school history with 822 points, fourth with 257 assists and fourth with 124 three-pointers.

Williams stepped onto the scene this season and made a solid impact with his scoring and great low-post play.  He is 81st in the country with a .530 field goal percentage and 18th in the CACC with 14.5 points per game.

The women's squad (17-11, 13-6 CACC) closed second in the CACC South Division and is home Saturday against Dominican-NY (11-17, 11-8), starting at 2:00 pm at the Jones Center.  Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students, seniors and children.  Goldey-Beacom students are admitted free with a valid ID.

The men's team (20-6, 14-5) clinched third place in the South Division and will visit Dominican-NY (17-11, 12-7) on Saturday at 2:00 pm in Orangeburg, NY.  The ticket prices above remain the same, but please note any Goldey-Beacom students wishing to attend will have to pay admission.

Please note for each game, there are no advance ticket sales and no complimentary tickets.
