Garrett Brown Named CACC Men’s Golf Player of the Week

Goldey-Beacom senior Garrett Brown (Severn, MD) had an exceptional day last Friday and earned his just due by being tabbed Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week.

Brown was on his game at the Mike Bello Invitational in Baldwinsville, NY, shooting even-par 144 to end second in a field of 75 players. After carding 74 in the morning round, Brown came back with a two-under-par 70 to close just four shots off the pace.

Brown now has 15 sub-80 rounds this academic year and three top-10 finishes. Named All-CACC after his sophomore campaign in 2014-15, Brown is attempting to get back to the NCAA Regional for a third time in his career.

Goldey-Beacom competes at the CACC Championship next Tuesday and Wednesday at Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown, DE.
