Shelby Murphy Repeats on the CACC Softball Weekly Honor Roll

The great play of Goldey-Beacom sophomore Shelby Murphy (Laurel, DE) continued as she was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll a second straight week.
 
Murphy batted .400 (8-for-20) last week with a double, a triple and an RBI.  She had three hits in the second game Thursday against West Chester as part of her 4-for-7 day.
 
Murphy is 30th in the CACC with a .319 batting average, first with four triples, second with 11 stolen bases, 23rd with a .478 slugging percentage and tied for 38th with three doubles.
 
Goldey-Beacom is postponed Tuesday at Dominican (NY) and is scheduled to play next on Thursday at home vs. University of the Sciences, starting at 2:30 pm.
