Goldey-Beacom once again graced the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Weekly Honor Roll with junior Corey Taite (Sayreville, NJ) making the men's basketball ledger and sophomore Amanda McGrogan (Mount Laurel, NJ) getting on the women's basketball list.

This is Taite's eighth appearance on the Weekly Honor Roll.  He also was picked the league's Player of the Week on December 18, January 15 and February 5.

Taite averaged 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds over two games with seven 3-pointers, five assists, three steals and two blocks.  Taite had 19 points and 10 rebounds Wednesday in a 76-67 victory at Holy Family before getting 19 points on 6-of-9 shooting with four 3-pointers Saturday in a 93-61 triumph over Concordia (NY).

Again plastering his name all over the NCAA website, Taite is 18th in the nation with 51 steals, 22nd with 127 free throws, 30th with 2.13 steals per game, 48th with 476 points, 52nd with 19.8 points per contest and 79th with 838 minutes played.

Taite now is sixth in team history with 1,131 career points, second with 287 free throws, fifth with 249 assists, fifth with 151 steals, fourth with 134 three-pointers and sixth with 355 baskets.  He also is fifth on the school's single-season list with 476 points.

His play is a major reason Goldey-Beacom (16-8, 12-3) sits one-half game ahead of Jefferson (12-4) for first place in the CACC South Division.  The top two teams in each of the two division host a conference-tournament quarterfinal.

McGrogan averaged 16.5 points on 12-of-24 shooting, 7.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists over two games.  She almost had a triple-double Wednesday at Holy Family with 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting, eight assists and seven rebounds.  McGrogan then had 12 points, seven rebounds and five assists Saturday in Goldey-Beacom's 61-51 win over Concordia (NY).

McGrogan is 33rd in the league with 9.5 points per game, 13th with 74 assists, 17th with a .701 free throw percentage, 22nd with a .411 field goal percentage and 40th with 4.4 rebounds per contest.  She has scored in double figures 14 times this season, including each of the last five games.

It is McGrogan's third appearance on the Weekly Honor Roll, included honors on November 13 and December 11.

Goldey-Beacom is on the road Tuesday to face University of the Sciences.  The women's game is at 6:00 pm and the men go at 8:00 pm.
