Goldey-Beacom's Softball and Baseball squads also excelled in the classroom in addition to the diamond with the former getting 10 student-athletes on the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference All-Academic Team and the latter earning nine honorees.

Softball saw Gwen Safin (Stroudsburg, PA) get her third honor, Alex Lowry (Wenonah, NJ) and Morgan McLane (Clayton, DE) each earn their second with Hannah Davis (Bethel, DE), Alesia Doctor (Rising Sun, MD), Emma Friel (Coatesville, PA), Delaney Insinga (Southampton, NJ), Davi Jimenez (Vineland, NJ), Gabriella Monzo (Northfield, NJ) and Rayna Pelcak (Laurel Springs, NJ) receiving their first.

Among the softball highlights, Lowry was tabbed second team All-CACC and soon will be a four-time honoree as College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.  A gifted and reliable athlete in all facets for softball and women's soccer, Lowry is second in school history with 21 triples, third with 43 stolen bases, 15th with 133 hits and 23rd with a .334 batting average.

Davis also was picked second team all-league, giving the Lightning outstanding play in left field, great hitting and exceptional speed.  One who will be extremely difficult to replace, Davis graduates first in school history with 73 stolen bases, first with 135 runs, third with 188 hits, eighth with 33 doubles and 22nd with a .337 batting average.

Goldey-Beacom (26-28, 14-8 CACC) had yet another strong year, this time stepping up its schedule against some of the area's elite squads from outside the conference and closing with its best league mark since 2017.  The third-place showing matched the Lightning's best finish at the CACC Tournament, also accomplished in 2005.

The highlights for baseball included Kolmansberger being named CACC Player of the Year, displaying solid hitting and consistently providing incredible play.  Owner of a school-record 28-game hitting streak this season, Kolmansberger enters his senior campaign first in team history with nine triples, second with 161 hits, second with 116 RBI, second with 41 doubles, fifth with 41 stolen bases, tied for sixth with a .310 batting average and seventh with 14 home runs.

Jump was named second team All-CACC and the league's winner of Baseball's Top XVII Award, given to the one who has the highest GPA of the teams competing at the final site for that sport.  He graduates first in team history with 195 strikeouts and tied for third with 13 wins.

Walker, a standout for four years who this season made the CACC All-Tournament Team, graduates first in team history with 230 hits, first with 137 RBI, first with 43 doubles, first with 137 runs, second with a .327 batting average and fourth with 45 stolen bases.

Goldey-Beacom (34-21, 15-9) made the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history with all coming in the last four years.  In just its eighth overall season since the program's reinstatement, GBC this year was ranked second in the East Region by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) a majority of the season and as high as 22nd in the organization's national poll.
