With the Lightning: Will look to make a contribution to the team in 2011-12 after red-shirting his freshman year.
High School: Three-year basketball letterwinner at local Christiana High School under head coach Natie Mariano…selected a 2010 Blue-Gold All-Star, the team’s 2009-10 most valuable player, 2010 All-Conference, and 2010 All-Conference Academic Team…also named the junior varsity team’s most outstanding player in 2007.
Personal: Troy Palmer…chose to attend Goldey-Beacom College to extend his education to a higher level…chose to play Division II athletics at GBC to further his basketball career with a proven winning program…hobbies include playing basketball and video games…high school teammate of Leron Kosh (Penn State Hazleton), Tim Steed (Fresno State), Paul Reynolds (Wesley College)…describes himself as “competitive.”
