Biography

At Goldey-Beacom: Second-year player who started all but two games on the Lightning defense line as a freshman…also active on the offensive end…should provide experienced leadership for GBC’s back line in 2010.

2009 Season: Played all 16 games and made 14 starts on defense…anchored a defensive unit that was No. 9 in the CACC in goals against average (2.43) and pitched three shutout victories against Lincoln (9/9), Felician (9/26) and Bloomfield (10/26)…took seven shots from his defensive position.

High School: Played at Peniano Britanico in Peru…participated in the Ontario, Canada Tournament hosted by the Ontario Soccer Association and also the Loja Ecuador International Tournament.

Personal: Mariano “Chino” Olcese…came to GBC because it is a small school and it has business…enjoys spending time with his friends.
