At Goldey-Beacom: Third-year defender who should challenge for playing time on the Lightning backline in 2010.
2009 Season: Played in 10 games and started two…took one shot…added depth to the Lightning’s defensive line.
2008 Season: Appeared in 14 games and made one start…part of a defensive unit that had two shutout victories.
High School: Played soccer and basketball at Caravel Academy…led her basketball team to the state semifinals…was named a top-10 sophomore basketball player in the state of Delaware…member of the National Junior Honor Society…Sophomore Class President…honor student.
Personal: Ashley Steele…teammates call her “Steele”…chose to come to GBC because it is a good business school and it is close…chose to play Division II athletics because it is fun and so she could earn a scholarship…enjoys hanging out with friends, listening to music and playing soccer…describes herself as “unique.”
