Biography

As a Junior in 2017: Named second team All-CACC… Started all 44 games he played in… Tied for the team lead with 11 multi-hit contests… Closed 27th in the CACC with a .299 batting average, 38th with a .389 slugging percentage, 25th with 43 hits, second on the team with 39 2/3 innings pitched, eighth with 14 RBI, tied for third with five steals, fifth with 19 runs and sixth with 18 strikeouts… Rapped three hits on a team-best four occasions… Served as the first batter in team history, doing so at Barton (2/18)… Had three RBI vs. Philadelphia U. (3/29)… Homered against Queens-NY (3/5) and Philadelphia U. (3/29)… Lined the game-winning single vs. Chestnut Hill (4/21) to cap a three-run, ninth-inning rally and help the Lightning to their first doubleheader sweep… Posted a seven-game hitting streak (3/25-4/3), during which he batted .462 (12-for-26) with eight RBI… Ended the season with a five-game overall hitting streak and a Doyle Field-record eight-game home hitting streak… Struck out three over six innings at Bloomfield (4/8) for his first victory… Struck out five over six innings vs. nationally ranked Felician (4/30) for his second win… Also had three strikeouts vs. Queens-NY (3/5) and Concordia-NY (4/22).
